    We have a big two months coming up for the Republic! Both Shakespeare Republic and Speaking Daggers had a HUGE April run of screenings and it’s not letting up from here!     More Official Selections and two more awards for the Republic! #Shakespeare #Webseries

    The results are in from Sicily Web Fest‘s Award ceremony and we are over-the-moon to announce that our brilliantly talented Shaun Herbertson has won us the Best Cinematography Award!!! Huge congratulations Shaun for this well-deserved win!! We were up against some impressive work in this category from all around the world and are just so thrilled with this accolade!!     Season Two filming complete and more festival official selections for Season One!

    What a month it has been! Exciting news is that we have finished filming for Season Two!!  After our initial 2 day shoot in August, we went on to complete a gruelling 8 day shoot in September, but it was totally worth it!  We have some amazing images from the shoot that we are so excited to share with you later this year and have a long list of people to thank for making the filming possible.     Shakespeare Republic Officially Selected for the 2016 Peak City International Film Festival

    We are delighted to have been officially selected for the 2016 Peak City International Film Festival (PCIFF), which will be taking place in Apex, North Carolina from April 2, 2016. Sally McLean’s episode as “Billie” performing Sonnet #18 will be leading the charge for the series. We would like to thank the judges and organizers at PCIFF for selecting Shakespeare Republic to screen at the festival – which also marks our first official screening in the USA!  The final awards ceremony will be screened live via Periscope from the Halle Cultural Center and we will let you know the details when we have them.
