    Shakespeare Republic nominated for Best Ensemble Drama at the 2022 International Academy of Web Television Awards in USA!

    We are thrilled to share that Shakespeare Republic has been announced as an official nominee for the 2022 International Academy of Web Television Awards (IAWTV Awards) in the Best Ensemble Drama category! Congratulations to the 24-strong cast for the current season of the show, who are based in London, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Los Angeles, New York and Melbourne on this wonderful recognition of their work! This is the second time that the series has received a Best Ensemble Drama nomination at the IAWTV Awards – the last time was for our 13-strong Season Two cast in 2017.     Shakespeare Republic Season Three is announced as Most Awarded Anthology series in the world for 2021

    We are SO THRILLED to share that Shakespeare Republic was announced overnight as the 6th most awarded web series of 2021 in the world, putting us in the Top 10 web series globally, and the Most Awarded Anthology series on the international stage, as ranked by the Web Series World Cup!!! We are also the #2 web series in Australia, which is amazing!! We are so grateful to all the festivals on the circuit who selected and awarded the show this year, who made this achievement possible.     Shakespeare Republic #AllTheWebsAStage wins three more awards!

    It has been a rollercoaster ride for the latest season of Shakespeare Republic over the past six months. The new season, filmed entirely in lockdown in 2020 using a combination of internet technologies, smartphones and the innovation of our director, cast and crew has been having an amazing run on the international film festival circuit since November 2020, most recently winning three awards at the Unrestricted View Film Festival in the UK – Best Web Series (Special Mention), Best Actor in a Web Series (Mark McMinn) and Best Actress in a Web Series (Sally McLean).     So absolutely delighted to announce that Season Two has been officially selected for the Portugal International Film Festival in their Web Series Category!     Season Two filming complete and more festival official selections for Season One!

    What a month it has been! Exciting news is that we have finished filming for Season Two!!  After our initial 2 day shoot in August, we went on to complete a gruelling 8 day shoot in September, but it was totally worth it!  We have some amazing images from the shoot that we are so excited to share with you later this year and have a long list of people to thank for making the filming possible.
