We are thrilled to share that Shakespeare Republic has been announced as an official nominee for the 2022 International Academy of Web Television Awards (IAWTV Awards) in the Best Ensemble Drama category! Congratulations to the 24-strong cast for the current season of the show, who are based in London, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Los Angeles, New York and Melbourne on this wonderful recognition of their work! We are SO THRILLED to share that Shakespeare Republic was announced overnight as the 6th most awarded web series of 2021 in the world, putting us in the Top 10 web series globally, and the Most Awarded Anthology series on the international stage, as ranked by the Web Series World Cup!!! It has been a rollercoaster ride for the latest season of Shakespeare Republic over the past six months. Since we began broadcasting the new stand-alone season of Shakespeare Republic back in August, things have been going from strength to strength with the series. Shakespeare Republic: #AllTheWebsAStage (The Lockdown Chronicles) has now released 23 of it’s 24 episodes, featuring actors from all over the world, exploring Shakespeare’s characters in lockdown, all using Shakespeare’s original monologues and soliloquies.
