Justin Hosking


From Melbourne, Justin is an ensemble member of Red Stitch Actors’ Theatre, Australia’s leading actors’ ensemble.  He began his acting journey doing rep theatre with Aspen Theatre in Colorado, and went on to study in New York and Los Angeles with Eric Morris, and then, in Melbourne with Peter Kalos.

He was a co-founder of Human Sacrifice Theatre in Melbourne. Of his many theatre credits, highlights include Uncle Vanya, The Cherry Orchard, Romeo and Juliet, True West, A Number, The Realistic Joneses, Danny and the Deep Blue Sea, The Last Days of Judas Iscariot, One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, and Angel’s In America.

Film credits include The Broken Shore, Crime & Punishment, Any Questions for Ben?, Domicide, The Heckler, and Vessel.  He co-wrote, produced and acted in the award winning short, After Silence. He has been seen in several TV shows including The Dr Blake Mysteries, The Hollowmen, City Homicide, Satisfaction, Tangle, Carla Cametti and Neighbours. He has worked with directors such as Nadia Tass, Rowan Woods, Julian Meyrick and David Myles.

Justin loves to cook, wrestle with the French language, and is a rare North Melbourne supporter.
