Danielle Farrow

Danielle is half-English, half-Austrian, loves to connect with fellow artists, and has been based in Edinburgh, Scotland since childhood. She can’t quite recall how many shows she has performed in for this iconic city’s arts festivals, but there have been a lot, starting with Noye’s Fludde in the Edinburgh International Festival in the 1980s and most recently appearing as “Titania” in a new work for the 2019 Fringe.

Another recent stage appearance saw Danielle play “Alice Schalek” in the epic WWI play The Last Days of Mankind (Leith Theatre & TheaterLabor). This international production brought together companies from seven different countries (and both sides of the conflict), with original music created and performed live by The Tiger Lillies.

Shakespeare credits include the roles of Oberon, Juliet, Prospero, Viola and Lysander, along with Lady Macbeth in a new play which toured in Italy as well as the UK. Danielle is also a narrator of audiobooks for such publishers as Harper Collins and Geddes & Grosset, and has voiced marionettes for Carlo Colla & Sons. See links for detailed credits!

Danielle is delighted to be part of Shakespeare Republic: #AllTheWebsAStage, and loves that initiatives like this and The Show Must Go Online (through which Danielle first connected with Sally McLean) can bring together those with a shared love of Shakespeare from all round the globe.

What an exciting way to connect!
